This independent project involved a study of various methods that can be used to add visual appeal to an environment through animation. The scene was build in 3D Studio Max 8 and Photoshop CS2. All textures were handpainted.

Techniques used to animate sections of this scene include particle effects, volume fog, fire effects, animated textures, animated lights, traditional rigging and animation, and prodecural animation via the volume select and wave modifier.
